Bio

Hi, I am Shohanuzzaman Shohan. I am a Ph.D. student in the Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) department at North Carolina State University.

My Ph.D. research focuses on the application of Machine Learning algorithms in nondestructive quality assessment of tissue-engineered medical products. Another part of my research is focused on designing and fabrication of custom perfusion-based multi-modal bioreactor systems for developing engineered tissues. I am also pursuing a minor in Biotechnology.

I also have an M.Eng in Industrial Engineering (IE) at NC State and a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). I completed my undergrad in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in Bangladesh.

Personally, I love to learn and automate things. Implementing any automation in life science and cell biology is extremely challenging, which motivates me more!
